The Historic Vehicle Test® is Toad Hall Workshops thorough inspection service, especially designed for classic cars. Cars over 40 years old are MOT exempt, but still need to be regularly checked for general safety check over. The HVT® is carried out by our experienced classic car mechanics, who can highlight any current or potential issues your historic car may have. You can rest assured that your car has been inspect by experienced classic car mechanics.
Our HVT® gives you peace of mind that your car is roadworthy and has been checked over by specialist classic car mechanics. We Inspect the following: Engine, Steering & Suspension, Braking System, Electrics, Tires & Wheels, Bodywork Condition, Chassis, Fuel System and Drivetrain. As well as general running condition and roadworthiness. After a HVT you are provided with a detailed 40 point inspection sheet on the condition of your car. Included is a video of the underneath of your car on our ramp. We also offer collection and delivery of your car, please contact us for more details.
